บันทึกแดนมังกร "มองมุมกลับ ปรับมุมมอง อย่าอารมณ์เสียกับทุกเรื่อง อะไรที่อดทนได้ ก็อดทน ถือซะว่าฝึกหัดขัดใจเราให้แกร่งขึ้น"

ณ ร้านกาแฟแห่งหนึ่งในห้างแถวบ้าน

สั่งกาแฟเสร็จกำลังจะไปหาโต๊ะนั่ง ปรากฏว่าโต๊ะเต็ม ซึ่งไอ้ที่เต็มเนี่ย ร้อยละ 50 คือคุณลุงคุณป้าชาวจีนมานั่งเฉยๆ ไม่ได้สั่งอะไร และเป็นเรื่องที่ค่อนข้างจะเห็นชินตา และเชื่อไหมครับว่า พนักงานเองก็ไม่ค่อยกล้าที่จะไปเชิญให้ลุก แม้ลูกค้าที่มาสั่ง จะไม่มีที่นั่งก็ตาม

ปรากฎว่า พนักงานที่ร้านกาแฟ ได้เดินไปขอร้องคุณลุงคุณป้าที่มานั่งชิลๆ ไม่สั่งอะไรเลย ให้ลุกออกจากร้านก่อน เพราะมีลูกค้าจะนั่ง ผลลัพธ์คือ คุณลุงคุณป้า ทำเป็นทองไม่รู้ร้อน และวีนขึ้นมา จนพนักงานทำหน้าเหยเก เศร้าใจแบบสุดๆ แต่ก็ทำอะไรไม่ได้ สุดท้ายเป็นกระผมที่ต้องบอกพนักงานว่า "ไม่เป็นไรครับ เอากลับบ้านละกัน"

เหตุการณ์ครั้งนี้ไม่ใช่ครั้งแรก และมันก็คงจะไม่ใช่ครั้งสุดท้าย ถามว่าทำไมผมถึงยอม จากประสบการณ์ที่อยู่จีนจนจะเข้าสู่ปีที่ 7 ในเร็ววัน พบว่า การเถียงและโวยวายไปกับคนแก่จีน (บางคน) ไม่มีอะไรดีขึ้น บางครั้งเราก็ต้องอดทนอดกลั้นและข่มใจเรา ถือซะว่าเป็นการฝึกฝนใจเรา ดีซะอีก ได้ประสบการณ์แกร่งขึ้น

"เราต้องระลึกไว้เสมอว่า เราไม่สามารถไปเปลี่ยนแปลงใครได้ ไม่สามารถไปบังคับใจใครให้ทำอะไรได้ตามใจเรานึกคิด ดังนั้น ถ้าเราไปเปลี่ยนเขาไม่ได้ เราก็เปลี่ยนและคุมใจเราแทน"

บอกเลยว่า เห็นใจพนักงานมากๆ ที่เจอแบบนี้ อย่างที่บอกไปไม่ใช่ครั้งเดียวและครั้งสุดท้ายแน่นอน ก็ได้แต่ยิ้มให้ และคิดในใจ ดีเหมือนกัน กลับมานั่งกินที่บ้าน จะได้นั่งทำเพจอ้ายจงไปด้วย :-D

เพื่อนคนจีนของผมหลายคน มักบอกกับผมเสมอว่า "คนแก่บางคน เราก็ต้องยอมเขาไป ที่นี่ให้ความสำคัญกับคนแก่มากๆ โดยเฉพาะคนที่อยู่มาในสมัยก่อนที่จีนจะเปิดประเทศ เขาลำบากมามาก นิสัยบางอย่างที่มันไม่ดี เราก็ต้องมองข้ามไป และรอวันผลัดใบ ทุกอย่างจะดีขึ้น"
